TITLE: Speech/Language Pathologist

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in the area of speech-language pathology, certification in communication disorders including a Kentucky license issued by the Kentucky Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

    • REPORTS TO: Director Special Education Services

    JOB GOAL: To provide speech/language services to all children who are diagnosed with communication disorders, within the Boone County Schools.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Screen and assess children and youth for suspected communication disorders, to include hearing screening
  • Consult and collaborate with other team members according to child/youth's needs
  • Assist in development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP)
