Job Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders to improve communication and overall quality of life.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on evaluation results.
- Provide therapy sessions targeting articulation, language development, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing concerns.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Prepare assessment reports and therapy progress reports.
- Educate parents/caregivers on home programs and therapy strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for integrated care.
- Maintain therapy materials and ensure proper documentation.
- Attend meetings, case conferences, and training as required.
