Specialist SEND Learning Support Assistant – Basildon, Essex
Psychology or Criminology graduates are invited to apply for this role. The position involves providing behaviour support and restorative practices to young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualised support to children with complex needs.
- Apply recovery and restorative practices to address challenging behaviours.
- Work collaboratively within the school team to develop and implement behaviour plans.
- Maintain accurate records of support sessions and progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate with a Level 3 qualification or higher in Psychology, Criminology or a related discipline.
- Experience (or interest) in working with SEN/complex needs is desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
