Job Description

Product Development :

  • Get design brief of new products in the cycles from DD team and provide technical input for develop new products focusing on cost, quality, production capability, and appearance.

  • Develop new products in the cycle to meet quality requirements, optimize product design and techniques to achieve the target cost while ensuring efficiency.

  • Validate issues and consolidate comments occurring during prototype process to improve and minimize the issues in PM phase.

  • Creation and maintenance of standards, specifications and drawings of material, component, product master and finished product to ensure compliance with design requirements, regulatory requirements and quality standards.

    • Cost Control :

  • Provide technical input for the Costing team to calculate cost.

  • Find a solution in terms of product design to reduce costs when they exceed the target.
