Specialist Process Engineer

Overview

The Specialist Process Engineer is a member of the Engineering Excellence Engineering team, conducting and overseeing the preparation and review of process systems design. The Engineer will report to Department Manager Process System.

Your role

• Managing the design process from concept to preliminary to detailed design.
• Lead technical activities, provide design solutions, resolve critical design challenges for new, updated and modified Candu Nuclear Steam Plant (NSP) process systems, structures and components and act as authority for NSP systems.
• Prepare and /or review design documents for Nuclear Power Plants; e.g., Design Calculation, Design Requirements, Assessments, Technical Specifications, Drawings, Bill of Materials, System Code Classification, Engineering Quotation Request and Tender Technical Evaluations.
• Perform thermal hydraulic evaluations on complex systems.
