Specialist Mine Planning (Saskatoon)

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver 2-week plans for mine development and continuous miner production, ensuring alignment with the 3-month plan and business objectives.
• Support execution teams with close routines and clear roll-out of the plan. Understand field conditions to suggest improvements for risks impacting safety and compliance to plan.
• Analyze data to identify relevant changes, drivers and inputs critical to developing robust forecasting and estimating costs.
• Interpret data from the outcomes and performance of mining operations, challenge inputs, identify bottlenecks, and suggest iterations to the strategic mine plan to improve safety and target productivity, creating improved alignment between plans and actuals, and data-driven decision making.
