The Specialist Engineer – Investment Planning is BC Hydro’s recognized subject matter expert for generation asset investment planning. The role provides strategic leadership for long‑term maintenance and capital investment planning, ensuring generation assets are managed to optimize reliability, safety, environmental performance, and lifecycle value. Working across multiple business units and disciplines, the position leads the development of asset investment strategies, risk‑based decision frameworks, and capital project prioritization plans.
