Specialist BSL Teaching Assistant – Gateshead

Protocol Education is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated BSL Teaching Assistant to support learners within specialist provisions across Gateshead.

Working closely with teaching staff, you'll help create an inclusive learning environment where every learner feels supported and able to reach their potential.

Key responsibilities:

• Use British Sign Language to support communication
• Assist learners during lessons and daily activities
• Promote confidence, independence and inclusion
• Support individual learning plans
• Travel between different specialist settings across Gateshead
