Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Role Overview:You will be working under the direction/guidance of the class teacher/SENCO/SEN Manager, to supervise and provide support for students with SEND to enable them to learn as effectively as possible on their own and in-group situations, considering their specialist will support the students academically KS3-5 (language, reading, writing, spelling and mathematics) & encourage the concentration and social skills. You will be responsible for the delivery of any special programmes & monitor the students’ progress /report.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs, focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD)
  • Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour intervention plans (BIPs).
