Job Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated qualified pharmacy technician to join us in the Acute Pharmacy Service within the Clinical Pharmacy team. You will have post registration experience upon which to build your knowledge and practice within clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Work at ward level with the multidisciplinary team and closely aligned to the clinical pharmacists.
• Medicines reconciliation and chart review.
• Provision of medicines for inpatient use.
• Patient counselling.
• Discharge planning and dispensing accuracy checking at ward level.
• Support, train and supervise less experienced technicians and students.

Requirements

• Qualified, registered pharmacy technician with relevant post qualification experience.
