Join SOUTHLAND as a Class 2S Driver Education Leader to innovate driver training. You will teach, evaluate, and support new driver trainees in a full-time role.
In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive classroom sessions for new hires and assess driving skills through evaluations. On-the-road training is also a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring all trainees meet the required standards. You'll utilize TrackIt to monitor progress and answer any queries regarding driver training and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct classroom training for new driver recruits
• Assess driving skills on a daily basis
• Evaluate trainees during on-the-road driving sessions
• Monitor training progress with TrackIt
• Provide support for driver inquiries and development
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 or 2 driver’s license with “S” endorsement
• Strong knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and emergency protocols
• Certification as a Class 2S Instructor
