Job Description

We are a well established restaurant and are looking for a Chef to join our kitchen team and deliver consistently high quality meals using the freshest of ingredients.

The position is a full time role involving scheduled weekend work. We are offering the suitable candidate a base salary of $75,000-80,000+super (above award wage) for a 38-hour week.

In this position, you will:

  1. Contribute to menu development by creating recipes using local and seasonal ingredients, undertake costing and prepare budget
  2. Control and rotate stock, estimate supplies, undertake timely ordering ensuring within budget
  3. Inspect kitchen facilities and equipment to ensure operability, cleanliness and meeting safety standards. Arrange maintenance as required
