El Barco is seeking a strong, hands-on Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen through a high-volume, fast-paced season on Martha’s Vineyard. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives on organization, standards, and team development.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Lead and motivate the line during service
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards
- Manage prep, ordering, inventory, and food cost controls
- Train and mentor line cooks
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance
