Overview

Hotel Grand Pacific is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our Kitchen management team. An independent luxury property home to the highly acclaimed Fathom Restaurant, we’re looking for a Red Seal-certified chef with a positive attitude, proven creativity, and excellent leadership qualities. This would be a great development opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie with banqueting experience in a 4 or 5-star property.

Duties

  • Supervise and participate in the day-to-day operation of all Kitchen areas to ensure the highest quality and presentation of products
  • Assist with menu development and food presentation specs
  • Work with the Executive Chef to prepare the budget
  • Assist in conducting monthly staff meetings
  • Assist with staff scheduling when required
  • Coach and motivate the Kitchen team to success
  • Ensure health & safety protocols are followed at all times
