Excel Recruitment are searching for a Sous Chef for a busy property in Galway city.

We are seeking applications from suitably experienced chefs with high-end gastro bar and/or restaurant experience.

The successful candidate will join a well established team to assist in the management of a busy kitchen and will have:

  • Experience of Food Safety Management systems

  • Knowledge of purchasing, stock management and waste management

  • Interest in training and coaching less experienced members of the team to ensure a consistently high quality product is delivered at all times

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a pressurised environment

    • In return the successful candidate will join one of Galways most famous eateries with opportunity to progress in time.
