Sous Chef – Mohale Lodge

Reports To: Head Chef

Location: Mohale Lodge

Contract Type: fixed-term

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Culinary Diploma
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Sous Chef
  • Knowledge of pastry preparation and baking

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct food preparation and collaborate with the Head Chef
  • Assist in the design and development of food and beverage menus
  • Produce high-quality dishes, ensuring excellence in both presentation and taste
  • Oversee and supervise kitchen staff
  • Assist with menu planning, inventory control, and supply management
  • Ensure food quality standards are maintained and the kitchen remains in excellent condition
