Reports To: Head Chef
Location: Mohale Lodge
Contract Type: fixed-term
Qualifications and Experience
- A Culinary Diploma
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Sous Chef
- Knowledge of pastry preparation and baking
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct food preparation and collaborate with the Head Chef
- Assist in the design and development of food and beverage menus
- Produce high-quality dishes, ensuring excellence in both presentation and taste
- Oversee and supervise kitchen staff
- Assist with menu planning, inventory control, and supply management
- Ensure food quality standards are maintained and the kitchen remains in excellent condition
