About the Role
• Be a subject matter expert on relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server), advising customers on modeling, migration, performance tuning, and daily operations
• Lead technical discussions and demonstrations of OceanBase's value proposition, conducting PoCs to validate capabilities
• Engage prospects to identify pain points and align OceanBase as the solution; support post-sale implementation with delivery teams
• Maintain deep understanding of competitive/complementary technologies and how to position OceanBase
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve product and market positioning
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field preferred
• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles (pre-sales/post-sales); ideally 2+ years as a Solution Architect at a database or cloud DB company
