Overview

Objective:

Sr. Solution Architects interface with multiple stakeholders in the organization to understand requirements, viable technologies, and strategic direction when making decisions regarding software.

Description:

This role includes determining multiple design alternatives, assessing each option based on constraints (such as cost, schedule, space, power, safety, usability, reliability, maintainability, availability, and so on), and selecting the most suitable options for further refinement. The output sets the core properties of the system, and those that are hardest to change later. Sr. Solution Architects provide leadership to the rest of the architecture team and work closely with Product Management and Development leadership in overarching designs affecting the entire software portfolio
