About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Solar Design Engineer to create accurate 2 D/3 D layouts and technical proposals for residential rooftop projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that every solar system we sell is technically feasible and optimized for maximum generation.
Key Responsibilities:
• System Design: Prepare detailed 2 D (Auto CAD) and 3 D (Sketch Up/PVsyst) layouts for residential rooftops (3k W – 20k W+).
• Shadow Analysis: Perform shadow analysis using Helioscope or Arka 360 to calculate accurate generation estimates for customers.
• Site Feasibility: Review site survey videos/photos to identify obstructions (water tanks, vents) and plan cable routing.
• Structure Design: Select the right mounting structure (High-rise vs. Standard) based on roof type.
