Software Validation & Test Engineer
Salisbury | Hybrid | £40,000–£55,000
We are recruiting for a Software Validation & Test Engineer to join an engineering-led business based near Salisbury.
This is not a web or app testing role.
The software you will be testing runs on physical equipment and engineered systems. Every change must be formally tested, documented and signed off before release.
You will:

Write structured test plans and test cases
*
Execute hands-on system testing (including on-site testing of equipment)
*
Record and document clear evidence of results
*
Support formal release sign-off processes
*
Help move an existing paper-heavy validation process into a more modern digital system
*
Introduce sensible automation where appropriate
