Software Team Leader - Embedded Wireless Technology Team

Overview We are seeking a full-time Software Team Leader for Networking Technologies in our Core Platform Technology Team at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will direct, coordinate and contribute to the activities of a small software engineering team who deliver state-of-the-art wireless networking software and solutions. The Networking Technologies Team is responsible for wireless networking technologies including Wi-Fi and LTE. A typical day can involve anything from driver development to application integration. Garmin's products utilize these networking technologies to enable features such as streaming video, music library management (Spotify, Amazon, etc.), over-the-air (OTA) software and map updates, sensor communication, data synchronization for our customers, and many more.
