Software Quality Assurance - Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve software issues.
• Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Participate in test planning, reviews, and documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing as required.
• Contribute to the maintenance of test data, environments, and automation infrastructure.
• Ensure timely and detailed reporting of test outcomes and quality metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 1 year of hands‑on experience in automation testing (web, API, or mobile).
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress for automation.
