About this Role


We are seeking a strategic and technically accomplished Software Engineering and QA Lead to drive the development of scalable, secure, and reliable digital applications. This role is pivotal in steering Vodafone’s transformation into a software-centric organisation, with over half of its technology workforce expected to be in Software Engineering by 2025. The successful candidate will lead a team of 7+ direct reports, influence cross-functional teams across European markets, and define long-term roadmaps and testing strategies. They will be responsible for delivering enterprise-grade software solutions, ensuring cost-efficiency, and maintaining alignment with Vodafone’s Software Engineering and Architectural Guilds.
