Requirements

  • Building custom apps/sites for USA and/or UK clients.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
  • Proficiency in ActiveRecord: associations, validations, scopes, and callbacks.
  • Experience with background job processing (e. g., Sidekiq, Delayed Job, Async Job).
  • Hands-on experience with database migrations and schema design.
  • Ability to write and maintain RSpec tests.
  • Familiarity with writing and organizing Rake tasks.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs using Jbuilder or ActiveModel. Serializers.
  • Solid understanding of JSON response structures and integration with frontend frameworks like React or Next.js .
  • Knowledge of CORS, Devise authentication, and JWT/session-based authentication mechanisms.
