**About the job:**

The Red Hat OpenStack Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer
to join our Red Hat OpenStack Platform team in our office in Pune, India.
In this role, you will work as part of a distributed team, both on your own
and in close collaboration and regular communication with other team
members and upstream developers. Ideally, you will need to be passionate
about innovative software development and open source.

**What you will do?**

+ Contribute to the development of the Virtualization component of the Red
+ Hat OpenStack Platform, both in the Open Source upstream and the
+ downstream product.
+ Collaborate on the Red Hat OpenStack Platform packaging, testing, and
+ release process
+ Maintain the Compute packages which are part of Red Hat OpenStack Platform
+ Assist with bug triage, root cause analysis and fixing.
+ Provide support to customers, partners
