Software Engineer II

Checkr is looking for a Software Engineer II to help us bring fair background checks to the enterprise customers. Our work is the backbone of employing millions of workers across the country.

Our team's mission is to provide the most accurate and comprehensive criminal records in the industry for customers all across the world. We're hiring for a team that is focused on unifying the experiences we offer for all the background screening products Checkr offers for our US and international customers by providing common platform functionality to other Checkr teams. Our team will be split 70/30 doing backend / frontend work.

Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve software with an eye for building common platform functionality that other teams leverage in their work.
• As a P2 at Checkr, you will be cranking out a lot of code building out scalable, performant, and secure APIs.
