• mature all aspects of IT 'run' to best practice levels, resulting in reliable and secure technology, and an efficient IT service provision, therefore a day‑to‑day IT operation that runs 'silently', and
• innovate and drive major change including improving business processes, developing and implementing new systems, leveraging data and modern ways of working, resulting in IT being an enabler of business growth.
