Software Development Senior Specialist

Ability to read, analyze, and modify existing codebases. GMI application experience or exposure (highly beneficial). Familiarity with modern IBM i tools, APIs, or integration technologies. Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments. Knowledge of change management tools (e.g., Turnover, Aldon, Jira, or similar). Experience with modernization initiatives within iSeries environments. Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the iSeries/AS400 platform. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Perform data analysis, data manipulation, and design of SQL queries, views, and stored procedures. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture improvements. Support production deployments and provide on-call assistance as needed.
