Job Overview

Procurement Infrastructure owns the software systems which generate purchase orders to procure hundreds‑of‑billions of dollars' worth of retail inventory each year. It is important that we reliably create, store, update, and convey purchase orders to thousands of vendors, and listen and act when they reply with signals regarding their ability to fulfill those orders, ensuring that Amazon has the products in‑stock that customers want and love.

The systems and interfaces our business uses are a mix of leading‑edge technologies, such as AWS cloud services and GenAI‑powered agents, and legacy or proprietary technologies, such as EDI, Amazon private cloud, and Amazon proprietary data warehouse.
