Software Development Engineer in Test)

Remote Role, work to be done in PST hours.

We are hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to lead and actively execute our quality strategy within a cloud-native, serverless microservices platform on AWS — partnering closely with engineers while building and implementing scalable automation solutions hands-on.

This is not a traditional QA role. You will design, build, and evolve an automation-first testing strategy across backend services, event-driven integrations, APIs, frontend (Cypress), and CI/CD pipelines — working closely with engineering teams to reduce production defects, improve integration reliability, and modernize our overall quality approach.

Top 3 “must haves” skills:

• Strong programming skills (TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js or similar)
• Proven experience building automation frameworks
• Deep experience testing REST APIs and distributed systems.
