Our Equipment Development Engineering department has been at the forefront of developing HDA (Hard Drive Assembly) automation assembly machines for several years. We innovate and create best-in-class equipment and manufacturing technology to support Seagate’s component and product roadmaps. Our efforts focus on improving overall equipment efficiency, enhancing capital utilization and longevity, and ensuring the health and safety of our employees.
About the role - you will:
● Develop, test, and implement PC-based software for automated machinery, including a few PLCs and HMIs
● Collaborate with the maintenance and process teams to analyze system requirements and design software solutions for improving manufacturing processes, machine performance and supporting product requirement changes
