Job Description

Working in a team environment, the Technical SAM Specialist as an individual contributor is responsible for implementing, engaging, and assisting customers in understanding and managing of different SAM Solutions. The Technical Specialist is also responsible for keeping the customer SAM Team aware of technology changes and what are the best practices for different solutions.


  • Key Focus and Objectives for Role:
  • 11+ years of experience in Software Asset Management.
  • Leverage ServiceNow SAM Pro or other SAM tools for data collection, normalization, reconciliation, and other features as needed.
  • Data collection and upload of customer contract and license entitlement information received from customers, software partners, and resellers.
  • Execute Proof of Concepts in customer environments
  • Support and train customers, the SAM team on deployed SAM Solution
  • Manage and support SAM solution.
