Software Architect (AI-Native Platform)

The Role

Rival Insurance Technology is building Canada’s next-generation insurance platform, designed to scale safely in regulated environments while evolving quickly through automation and AI-native development practices. As a Software Architect, you will define and evolve the core application architecture behind Rival’s products, including RPM and its AI-enabled workflows. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role focused on designing resilient, observable, and secure systems while re-engineering how software is built and delivered using modern automation and AI-assisted development techniques.

You will partner closely with engineering, platform, product, data, and security teams to set architectural direction, guide complex technical decisions, and ensure the platform can safely incorporate AI as a first-class capability, not an afterthought.
