Software and Hardware Asset Manager

The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for owning, managing, auditing, and reporting on the software and hardware asset inventory and operational processes and procedures to ensure they meet current and future business needs. They will look to identify any business risk associated with IT assets, and provide advice, and best practice guidance to facilitate effective decision making. They will also provide close support to procurement and supplier relationship teams to help control related asset costs.

The IT Asset manager will gather and analyse asset data and apply industry knowledge and experience to ensure ongoing compliance with contracts and laws for software licensing and usage. They will also ensure management of hardware assets is undertaken to ensure appropriate policies and management lifecycles are in place and maintained effectively.
