Job Description
Make a difference in rural communities as a full-time Social Worker with Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba, focusing on the Carberry and Glenboro areas. Deliver essential assessments and support services to families.
This term position extends until mid-October 2027 and requires flexibility to cover various rural locations including Treesbank and Dunrea. The successful candidate will engage in intake assessments while providing essential ongoing services tailored to families and children in the Agency's care. A vehicle, laptop, and cell phone will be supplied for work tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake assessments for families in need
• Provide ongoing family support and services
• Address specific needs of children in Agency’s care
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet service requirements
