The Simcoe County District School Board is committed to supporting the academic achievement and mental health and well‑being of all students. Reporting to the manager of Social Work Services, working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, the successful candidate(s) will

• Provide individual and small group counselling to students struggling with mental health and addiction concerns.
• Provide suicide risk and violent threat risk assessment, in collaboration with family, school, community and health system partners. Provide response where school communities have been impacted by a traumatic event.
• Provide psychoeducation to staff, students and families on mental health and addiction topics, addressing the intersection with equity, special education, and Indigenous Education needs.
