Social Care Worker job in Cavan.
This is an exciting opportunity for Social Care Workers to join a new Tusla service in Cavan which will deliver a trauma-informed model of care for young people aged between 13 & 17 years of age. The team will encourage the development of positive attachments through relationship building with the overall goal of providing a therapeutic environment for children and young people. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging the young people in the programme and on building rapport in support of developing relationships.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of Social Care professionals to deliver robust, holistic, trauma-informed care to the young people.
The Social Care Worker will have responsibility for working with Children and Young People, household activities, administration, teamwork, professional development, health and safety.
