Snr Network Engineer - (Remote)

The Senior Network Engineer: Firewalls is primary responsible for the end-to-end management of the organisation’s firewall infrastructure, including, but not limited to, the design, implementation, monitoring, and management thereof. The responsibilities include setting up of secure inter- and intra-organisation communication channels, such as virtual private networks (VPNs) and IPSec tunnels. The role is also responsible for providing specialist or architecture advice and support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of network engineering across the organisation in respect of the local area networks (LAN), wireless networks (WLAN), wide area networks (WAN) and Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) to ensure maximum uptime for the organisation’s user community.
