Snowflake Developer – Job Description

Role Summary

The Snowflake Developer builds and maintains scalable ELT pipelines, data models, and transformations within the Snowflake ecosystem to enable analytics, reporting, and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines into Snowflake.
  • Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake scripts .
  • Implement data models (star schema, data vault, curated layers).
  • Build and maintain Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and scheduling workflows .
  • Integrate with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Informatica, Matillion, or Fivetran.
  • Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Tune query performance and warehouse utilization .
