Job Description

As an SMSF Accountant, you will be responsible for processing of client records and the preparation of workpapers and other year-end reports for the review of the SMSF Manager.

You will be provided adequate training and supervision to assist with your ongoing proficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process client records into BGL360/Class software.
  • Reconcile GST transactions and prepare Business Activity Statements for Funds that are registered for GST.
  • Having the ability to recognize client records required and transactions not able to be reconciled for the review of the SMSF manager and discussions with the client.
  • Preparation of draft year end reports and workpapers for review

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
