Smallholder Farming Manager VNM/CAM

Job Description :

• Sole responsibility for local management of the Smallholder Farming Initiative. Project organization with multiple partners, farmer organizations, other departments and external organizations (NGOs, local government authorities). Timely coordination of all partner companies to ensure provision of appropriate inputs and services to growers in scope of the Smallholder Farming Initiative. Close monitoring of farming operations, agricultural practices, training activities and financial flows
between partners
• Ensure that the appropriate training materials and all partners are produced and available in a convenient form to the farmers
• Establish the link between the developers of the digital tool and the business requirements from smallholder farming in the country
• Demonstrate the viability of the business model which must result in both an improvement of farmers’ income and livelihood as well as additional business
