Engineered Materials Solutions in Attleboro,MA is seeking a Slitter Set-up Operator for a 2nd shift 3-person team. Experience preferred/Basic Math skills required.
Position Summary: The Slitter Set up person is responsible for working with the Lead Operator and the Apprentice as a team to maintain the safety of the area, meet the required production and quality requirements for the slit material.
Responsibilities:
+ Review operation schedule and work with the operator planning the day/shift.
+ Set-up the off-line head for the next available job on the schedule.
+ Switch heads when the job is completed on the on-line head with the off-line head set-up for the next job.
+ Assist in the processing of material through slitter (Working with the 3rd hand apprentice when free from setting up the off-line on making tags, strapping coils and planning next job)
+ Inspect and release slit material
