**Job Title: Skilled Laborer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a civil skilled laborer for industrial sites in the Vancouver area. This role involves shoveling, installing pipes, grading, placing precast barrels, working with excavator operators for spotting, as well as backfilling and compacting. Some sites may also require building forms for sidewalks and curbs.
**Responsibilities**
Perform shoveling and installation of pipes.
Grade and place precast barrels.
Work collaboratively with excavator operators for spotting.
Conduct backfilling and compacting activities.
Build forms for sidewalks and curbs as needed.
**Essential Skills**
3-5 years experience in civil construction.
1+ year of pipelaying experience.
Ability to shovel constantly throughout the day.
Capable of lifting and carrying 50lbs consistently.
Safety-conscious with great communication skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience as a pipelayer is an asset.
