Skilled Electro Plater

Bowmill Metal Treatments are currently seeking a Skilled Electro Plater . The ideal candidate will have a professional manner and excellent timekeeping, be self-motivated with a willingness to learn and desire to succeed. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for surface preparation and electro plating of Cadmium and Zinc-Nickel and capable of carrying out processing to ensure compliance to customer, specification and drawing requirements.

Requirements needed for an Experienced Electro-Plater OperativeRole:

• Previous experience as an Electro-Plater, ideally working with cadmium or zinc-nickel
• Strong understanding of surface preparation and plating processes
• Confidence operating electroplating equipment and monitoring process controls
• Experience checking plating thickness and identifying defects
