Site / Yard Supervisor (Logistics) – Port Elizabeth
We are currently seeking a Site / Yard Supervisor for a logistics company based in Port Elizabeth.
Salary: R15 000 – R17 500 per month commensurate with qualification and experience + overtime.
Must be willing to work a shift cycle (3 days shifts, 3 days night shifts, 3 days off).
Requirements:
- Must be of sober habits and good work ethics (regular drug and alcohol testing)
- Strong leadership abilities, sound judgement, and excellent communication skills
- Essential – ability to provide accurate and detailed handover reports, particularly regarding activities and incidents that occur during the night shifts
Key Performance Areas:
- Supervising daily work onsite
- Ensuring employees follow instructions and company rules
- Ensuring health and safety rules are followed
- Allocating work and monitoring performance
