Overview

Rainbow Agric, Western Cape is looking for a Site Supervisor to manage Breeding operations, resources and manpower.

Responsibilities

  • To manage the operations, resources and manpower of a site thereby ensuring the optimal number of the right quality birds at the right time and at the lowest cost.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Certificate or diploma in Agriculture preferred
  • Driver license (to enable driving tractor and attend meetings)

Experience

  • 5 years experience in the Breeding environment of which 2 years in a supervisory position such as Assistant Farmer

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge: Poultry production inclusive of breeder and broiler management
  • Understand basic poultry nutrition, growth, anatomy and reproduction
