Key Responsibilities

  • Surveying and setting out levels of site to enable accurate production of the building designs
  • Conducting preliminary inspections, surveys and studies of a proposed construction site
  • Maintaining documentation related to construction projects, including permits, material
  • specification sheets, and budgetary documents
  • Managing the day-to-day activities of contractors and subcontractors working on the site
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts
  • Writing detailed project bids and proposals showing cost and time estimates of the project
  • Devising technical solutions to issues that are causing delays and monitor the
  • implementation of these solutions into the overall workflow
  • Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
