We are looking for an experienced Highways Site Engineer to support ongoing road improvement/new roads and infrastructure works in the Norwich area. 

Its an opportunity for a freelance engineer with strong technical skills, good site leadership, and a background in highways construction.

As a Site Engineer you will be working for a Tier 1 contractor, and we are looking for someone with Tier 1/PC experience, large scale and fast moving project experience, and who has worked on projects such as, New Roads, Road Realignments, Slip roads etc. 

Some Key responsibiltes are -


  • Setting out for highways works including road construction, drainage, kerbing, ducting, pavements, and earthworks 

  • Completing quality assurance docs, ITPs, as-builts, and daily records and other paperworks


  • Managing and resolving technical queries on site
