Site Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

To oversee the on-site activities for projects, manage construction operations, and ensure that plans and specifications are accurately implemented. They are responsible for coordinating with the team, resolving technical issues, and monitoring progress to ensure successful project execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure they align with quality standards and project plans
• Maintain communication with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers to build relationships
• Determine and present estimates of operational costs
• Ability to prepare RFPs, BOQs.
• Compile and present reports explaining project details to non-technical stakeholders
• Assist with cost tracking and financial reporting on the selection of works to avoid budget overruns.
