The position is available for two individuals from August 3-4, 2026, at Wassasi Park. Responsibilities include cleaning the site, mowing, and crafting essential equipment like drying racks and bannock sticks. This role demands both teamwork capabilities and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare the Métis Culture Camp site for the event
• Mow grass and maintain a weed-free area
• Build drying racks suitable for meat preservation
• Supply a minimum of 20 bannock-making sticks
Requirements:
• Must hold a valid class 5 driver’s licence
• Own vehicle and equipment for job tasks required
• Capacity to work with minimal supervision
• Strong physical stamina for labor-intensive tasks
• Team-oriented with the ability to work alone
